Refund Policy
Serosti Catering Services, LLC – Catering Consultation Bookings

1. Scope of Policy
This policy applies to payments made by you (“Client” or “you”) for consultation services booked via our website with Serosti Catering Services, LLC (“we”, “our”, “us”). The “Consultation” refers to an appointment for menu planning, logistics review, pricing discussion, venue coordination, or other catering/event-planning advisory services.
2. Booking & Payment

You must pay the consultation fee (or deposit, if applicable) at the time of booking to confirm your appointment.

All fees are in U.S. dollars and are non-transferable unless otherwise stated.

Your booking confirmation will include the scheduled date/time, payment receipt, and this policy link.
3. Cancellation by Client (Your Choice)
3.1 Standard Cancellation (With Notice)

You may cancel or reschedule your consultation free of charge if you provide notice at least [48 hours] before the scheduled appointment time.

In such cases, you may either:

Request a full refund of the consultation fee; or
-
Reschedule the consultation to another available time at no additional charge.

3.2 Late Cancellation or No-Show

If you cancel less than [48 hours] before the scheduled appointment, or if you do not attend the consultation (“No-Show”), your consultation fee is non-refundable.

We may, at our discretion, offer a partial credit toward a future consultation, but this is not guaranteed.
4. Cancellation or Rescheduling by Us (Our Choice)

If we need to cancel or reschedule your consultation due to our scheduling conflict, illness, or other business reason, we will notify you as soon as possible and offer you:

A full refund of your consultation fee; or
-
A rescheduled appointment at your convenience (subject to availability).

In no event will we be liable for any other costs or damages incurred by you as a result of our cancellation (such as travel costs, lost wages, etc.).
5. Refund Process & Timing

Once a refund is approved, we will process it to the original payment method used at booking.

Please allow up to [7-10 business days] for the refund to appear on your account; timing may vary depending on your card issuer or payment processor.
6. Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds will not be available for:

Client-initiated cancellations within the late cancellation/no-show timeframe (see Section 3.2).

Services already rendered: once the consultation has commenced (i.e., time has begun or materials delivered), no refund will be issued.

Change of mind or dissatisfaction alone does not automatically qualify for a refund unless the cancellation meets the notice requirements in Section 3.1 and the consultation has not yet begun.

Fees paid to third-parties (e.g., venue deposits, vendor payments) or included in the consultation fee that have been passed through; these are subject to the third-party’s refund policy.
7. How to Request a Refund or Cancellation

We will confirm the cancellation and, if eligible, process your refund per Section 5.
8. Changes to This Policy

We reserve the right to modify or update this Refund & Cancellation Policy at any time.

The version posted on our website at the time of your booking governs your rights.

Continued use of our booking services after such changes will constitute your acceptance of the revised policy.
9. Governing Law

This policy and any disputes arising from it are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

If any provision of this policy is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.
